(10% of Poland!).
Lublin is the largest and the fastest developing city on the right side of the Vistula River, with an area of 147,5 km2 and about 360 000 inhabitants. This city plays the role of administrative, educational and cultural centre of the Voivodship. Its rich history and the fact that it is located in a multi-cultural melting pot define its characteristic and unique values. They have been particularly well reflected in its architecture, topography and the social and cultural development of the city.
All those qualities add to the unique local diversity of Lublin city and makes it exceptionally attractive not only to students and tourists, but also filmmakers, who will surely find it a rich source of inspiration.

Zamek Lubelski - Lublin Royal Castle
Icon of city and the one of the oldest preserved Royal residencies in Poland. Lublin Castle is a medieval castle situated in Lublin, adjacent to the Old Town district and close to the city center. You can visit there museum, see Kaplica Trójcy Świętej (Chapel of the Holy Trinity) and Donżon. Very often there are organized festivals and cultural events.
Stare Miasto - Old Town
Lublin Old Town is one of the most precious Polish complexes of historic buildings! The Crown Tribunal and the 14th-century Kraków Gate leading from the Old Town to the city center are commonly considered symbols of the city. It's great place to spend time with family or friends. You can find there everything. You can go there to restaurants, eat taste ice creams or waffles with whipped cream and fruits, visit art galleries, museums, buy some antiques, paintings and of course see some of old buildings.
Muzeum Wsi Lubelskiej - Lublin Village Museum
Village Museum is my favourite place in Lublin. This place is picturesquely situated in the valley of the river Czechówka, is one of the largest open-air museums in Poland. It presents the cultural diversity of the region, thanks to the combination of architecture and a rich collection of exhibits of concern for the intangible heritage of the region. In a comprehensive manner collects items related to the old life of the village, manor houses and villages, but also perpetuates the knowledge of customs, rituals, traditions and daily work of people of a bygone era. I love spend time in this beutiful place. I always visit stable, pond, gardens and some old, small houses of villagres. Each year at summer I helping in dożynki :-)
Ogród Botaniczny - Botanic Garden
Nice place to take photos and relax. Some of newlyweds go there to make wedding pictures by professional photographs.
peyotle or what? :')
I hope now, you want to visit Poland :D If you want, in next posts I can add photos taking by me. Lublin - city of inspirations!
